I have now been marketing online for around 7 years, I've tried every money making scheme going....gifting and pyramid schemes in my youth before I learned they were illegal, investment programs (lost a of money), get paid to learn programs (a of work for a couple of lousy dollars), multi-level marketing programs, internet programs, you name it, I have tried it And along the way I've learned anything or two about marketing, recruiting, building downlines, building money online and definitely losing money online...but does that make me a Guru? Am I now a specialist in online marketing and home-based business? Well I undoubtedly do not consider myself an expert or any such Guru - whatever that means. But I have my own personal internet sites, I'm part of the effective team in an incredible MLM firm, I work a number of affiliate programs, I run several blogs, I know something or two about marketing both on and offline, I write articles on the main topic of internet marketing and homebased business and so on... I read about many so called experts with 4, 5 or 6 years knowledge of internet marketing...they have created ebooks and programs about the niche, some also hold meetings and teaching calls about it but are they really experts? I have read many e-books written by these authorities and more regularly or not they teach me nothing knew. I actually do not consider myself a specialist or an internet marketing Guru. I do have lots of experience and am willing to spread what I have learned through the years. But I'm still learning...I still search out good e-books to see, search out new marketing techniques to master and so on...we should all be studying all the time.
