One other point that I read is that they have a tendency to get meat stuck in the hollow area of the handles but I havent experienced that so I am not certain it is a concern. Oh, yeah, back what I did when I first got them, that was so funny, is when my grand kids, ages three and five were staying with me. They had been hanging about the kitchen making a bit of a nuisance of themselves when I suddenly made a loud, bear like, roar and ran at them with my claw covered hands in the air and they shrieked, running off into the bedroom not to be noticed for a while.
