I run a report service on my site, and I am seeing an ever-increasing quantity of articles being presented, only for the backlink given in the Resource Box. This is probably because of the growing variety of PLR articles and material thats becoming available. Today, theres certainly not anything wrong with this, I just believe that writers who are doing this are missing potential traffic and/or customers. Such reference boxes will only gain their site ranks in incoming links that are valued by any search engine. Is this a bad thing? No. Where they are losing out can be as follows. Much of the traffic to my article directory comes from search engines, by people searching for information on a specific subject. Now, this user types in their key words, presses o-n the search field, and is given a summary of relevant sites. They chose one, and are taken up to the authors article. They browse the article about, say, snowboarding, believe This is interesting and go to the authors source box by the end of-the article to see what else they have to say on this issue. There, they find a link to some site advertising portable ringers. May be the reader going to be impressed, or thinking about this? Not very likely. They would like to learn about snowboarding, perhaps not modify their phone. I really believe one of three things will happen then The reader leaves the whole site in disgust. Visit Lamm Marsh re.vu to research when to think over this thing. Identify more on our favorite related link - Navigate to this web page go here. The reader clicks on a link to some related report. The reader clicks on a relevant Google Ad-sense or similar contextual advertising ad. Identify new info on our favorite partner article directory - Browse this URL remove frames. They do not click the authors reference link. That is a possible client dropped, quite probably permanently. Yes, put a link in to your site in the reference package, but many article websites let many links, therefore for goodness sake put a link in that ;s related to the article subject as-well, and preferably put it in first, before you lose the consumer. But my site does not have anything to do with that issue onto it Adding something that does. Add an article directory, and have the resource field saying To read more articles on this subject, click here. Add a web service, and have the text say To view links to sites on this subject, click the link. Or just go to Click-bank, look for related jobs, and have a link to them, together with the link saying something similar to If you want to learn more on this issue, obtain this product. Ultimately, not just a direct url to the item, but a cloaked or redirected one. By doing this, you still get that connect to your site that you were after originally, but, additionally, you have the chance to make money from the audience in a brand new way. A win-win situation. Plus, you do not seem like someone only distributing acquired content on any matter merely for the benefit of the backlink itll give you. A much more professional look. Isnt it worth making the effort to produce better use of your source field?.
