I studied a variety of blood pressure monitors before deciding to buy this one. I immediately established I wanted a wrist one - this is because I generally found the upper arm types really uncomfortable. To check up additional info, please consider checking out Check this out at amazon.co.uk/Blood-pressure-Monitor-Diastolic-Hypertension/dp/B00XN0WM28/blood pressure monitor/. After looking at prices from low to high, I decided that an average price for the features I needed, was between 20-40. I considered the cheaper models and did not get the sense that these products wanted to give many details, plus these products only had basic features of bpm, pulse rate, memory. And also the postage and packing isnt free below 20 so you find yourself paying for shipping. To avoid a stab in the dark I searched for other things I prefer to look at product info in as much detail as possible - The TempIR one looks at all of its features such as the arrhythmia indicator, which they dont all have, and memory features A few of the monitors didnt have any product reviews on them. The TempIR one did not have a lot, but they were all 5 stars and have some good information in them. All of the monitors had large LCD features, but some of them seemed complicated with additional colours and buttons, the TempIR one seemed to be a lot more straightforward I prefer to see pictures of what I am getting and the TempIR monitor actually displayed the plastic box it came with too. There is a free e-book, and this is an added bonus, it saves time if you need some facts on hypertension..
